Shimmy Braun is a local loan officer who is a member of the LGBTQ+ community and wanted to target his advertising to this group. OOH Billboards were placed within a neighborhood with a large LGBTQ+ community, and social activity was boosted with posts and the hashtag #makeitshimmy.
Our playful copy, striking studio photography, and placement resonated with its target audience. The campaign was wildly popular, cementing Shimmy’s popularity in the area and earning an article in the Chicago Tribune.

Billboards were placed on low buildings near heavy foot traffic spots in the Northalsted neighborhood of Chicago, so details could be seen and appreciated on these social posts.
Our drag performer/influencer cross-promoted Shimmy’s posts and hashtag, encouraging buzz and engagement. Please note she has changed her handle to @darbylynncartwright since these posts.
